Trying out some tests of the animation. As you can see, the entire background is blue screen. This way, I can easily key out the background, and drop in the clouds and trees like the picture from the previous post. There's Hanna standing at the grave.

The graveyard came together pretty quick. I bought some dried flowers to randomly place throughout. I'm pretty happy the way it turned out.
I took a photo and made a composite. This is pretty close to what it will look like in the film.

Happy new year! Right before Christmas I finished building the staircase. I will show it in a later post. The Lab is as finished as it can be right now. The final details will be completed when the set goes "hot" and I'm ready for those scenes (cobwebs dust etc...)
